We are going to start our review with the most renowned brand and the product for stylus pen on the market right now. JAMJAKE has been doing their business for a long time yet this product has revealed on the market not long ago. Only with its quality and flawless service make it happen to come this far away.
First and foremost, this pen is specially designed and invented for iPad Series. And this is so important to be sure about its compatibility before you make any purchase decision. No matter it is a stylus pen or fancy glass dip pens. I’m going to demonstrate a list of devices that this pen will be compatible with.
- Apple iPad 2018 & 2020
- iPad 8th Gen(2020)
- iPad Pro(11"&12.9")
- iPad 6th Gen(9.7")
- iPad Air 3rd&4th Gen
- iPad 7th Gen(10.2") and,
- iPad Mini 5th Gen
Notably, there are some other devices that won't be compatible with the JAMJAKE Stylus Pen. it is safe to say, the pen is only compatible with the above devices. Devices like iPad pro 10.5", any earlier versions of iPad, iPad Pro 9.7", iPad pro 1st&2nd, iPhone, Android, and any Microsoft devices won't work with the pen.
Now if we look into its specification and features, this is a battery-driven pen and the battery is included by default. One of the exciting features it has is its 1.5mm point tip. It replaces your finger and any other stylus pen to execute finer instructions. It is very smooth to use and feels so comfortable in the hand.
What's more? There is no lag, offset, or breaking point. When it comes to comparing the sensitivity with other pens, this pen stands strong and powerful. It provides accurate signals beyond your expectations.
Now, what do I like most about the pen? Its simplicity. Yes, you read it correct. It is easy to operate and write with. You don't even need any Bluetooth or apps to run it for your devices. Just touch the cap button and it will be activated automatically.
And finally, because of its palm-rejection technology, you will feel how you write with this stylus pen. Meaning it writes naturally and keeps an effortless interaction with your screen. So, without a doubt, this is one of the best stylus pens right now and there's no reason to avoid it unless it doesn't match your devices.

- It looks like a conventional pencil; slim and light
- You'll get a realistic feeling with its 1.5mm point tip

#2. Mixoo Capacitive Stylus Pen
While we are on the topic of the best stylus pen, this is an obvious choice for each and every expert in this field. Mixoo Capacitive is a Universal pen. Because, it is compatible with almost any device. However, this stainless steel made pen is no short than a world-class stylus pen. You'll find out shortly, why.
It is a 2 in 1 touch screen pen made of stainless steel and aluminum. It does a great job for writing and drawing smoothly and over any tablet and smartphone. Ask me how? Well, it has been equipped with two transparent discs. One of them is of silicone disc tip and the other one is fiber tip. Meaning, you are going to have a pen-like experience while writing.
But what I like most about the concept of having the disc in both ends is that it allows you to see through the screen of your device and where exactly you're pointing at. Let me rephrase the sentence in an easier way.
Imagine you are writing over something and you cannot see anything until it’s done completely. Meaning, you don't exactly know how it works when you're acting upon it. Then, when it is done, now you can reshape or erase or whatever you want to do, you can. So, how does it feel? Surely not good.
But in the case of this stylus pen, with its transparent disc, you can see what exactly you're doing and where you're point at. So, the question is, what to do with it? What's the necessity of it? Well, this will have a profound impact on your drawing and writing with more accuracy.
Moreover, it comes with a rubber grooved grip that helps you to have more control over it. And the screw cap enables you to carry it in your pocket, bag, or even in the traveler's notebooks.
By and large, this stylus pen is suitable for smartphones. Having said that, it is compatible with iPad, E-reader, and any other eligible touch screen device.
Oh! One more thing before we move on to another review. This pen doesn't make a scratch happen on the screen yet it is safe to use a screen protector.
- Compatible with almost every smartphones and touch screen devices
- Made from stainless steel and aluminum
- It offers a comfortable rubber grooved grip
- Transparent disc at both ends; ensures great control and accuracy
- Great for the price
#3. LIBERRWAY Stylus Pen (10 Pack)
You probably heard of LIBERRAY. This famous brand of stylus pen offers some incredible features and qualifications at an affordable price. You know for some buyers the best product is of having a good balance between price and quality. This product exactly does the same.
This is a 10 pack stylus pen set. These same pens are available in 20 and 30 pack from the same brand LIBERRWAY. However, for today we are going to talk about the 10 pack stylus pen. The pen in and of itself is light and compact. It is easy to carry with your bag, notebook, and backpack. And the clip style even makes it easy to carry in your pocket.
Well, what's the main reason people use stylus pens for their smart devices? Get rid of using big fingers, right? You know it is easy to point at something and even more accurately. So, this LIBERRWAY stylus does no less than what we are talking about. It comes with a better touchpoint than your big fingers and gives you more accuracy than ever. Therefore, no more worries about big fingers trouble when you have the stylus pen for your touch screens.
And the best part about this product is that it provides a tip that is made of soft and scratch-resistant rubber. To be honest, there is no shame in informing you that there are some other brands that are even famous in some communities provide stylus pen with no quality tip. Tips are made of poor quality material. Thus, it scratches over the touch screen and ends up with a horrible experience.
So, the point here is pretty simple. The pen has nothing fancy. It looks decent and comes with some quality. Therefore, if you are someone who always looks for quality over other stuff, then this is a product made for you. No point there wasting a few minutes here and there, go and get this one.
- Great accuracy
- Compatible with almost any touch screen device
- Great for the price
- Perfect for all hands (suitable for the kids)
- Anti-scratch tip (made with soft and scratch-resistant rubber)
#4. MEKO Universal Stylus (2 Pcs, Black/Black)
If you are looking for a stylus pen that matches all your creative visions, the MEKO Universal Stylus pen would be a great option. This pen is compatible with various touch screen devices. You can use it for iPad, iPhone, Android phone, laptop, and so many others.
Though it is made from stainless steel and aluminum this is a lightweight pen. Anyone with basic writing and drawing knowledge can use this pen.
In length, it is 144mm or 5.5 inches. And it weighs only 24g. No plastic part is used in this pen.
But what I like most about the pen is its soft rubber grip. It is such a comfortable grip to hold on and write with. If aren’t new to our website you probably know that I always emphasize a few things for pen choosing. One of them is a comfortable grip. So, you can say this grip is no less than what I say prefer always.
What's more? It comes with a transparent disc on the tip. We've seen already in our very first product how a transparent disc can significantly change your accuracy. Frankly, it will improve your accuracy with both writing and drawing. The reason is simple. You will be able to see where you are pointing at and how you are making marks on the screen.
Moreover, this stylus pen set comes with 2 pieces of stylus pen along with 4 pieces of the transparent disc and 2 fiber tips. And the interesting fact is that you can replace the tip by yourself. No need to go to their outlet or asking for an expert.

#5. ANKACE Palm Rejection Stylus Pen
Want a stylus pen that looks sophisticated and classic? Get ANKACE stylus pen. Without a doubt, this is one of the best stylus pens on the market right now in terms of classy design and elegant appearance.
This pen is widely compatible with various touch screen devices. You can draw different types of lines with this pen. It is made from aluminum; no plastic part is included. Moreover, it doesn't require any battery to get into action.
But what captivates me the most about this pen is that it comes with a 1.2mm POM tip, which is considered as the official pencil for an iPad. And first and foremost, it doesn't cause any harm or being specific any scratches to your screen. Rather its amazing point tip executes some finer lines with no lag, breaking point, or offset. Moreover, it is too sensitive, more than other ordinary stylus pens available on the market.
One of the major advantages of having this pen in your arsenal is that it has a tilt function and palm-rejection technology. Meaning, no worries about wear and tear, and the nib are replaceable. It functions in the way of the larger the pen tilt area, the thicker the line. It ensures it is perfect for drawing and writing.
While you making marks on the screen, you can rest your palm comfortably on the screen. Moreover, the pen allows you to work without having anti-friction gloves covered your hand.
This long-lasting stylus pen doesn't require any Bluetooth device or something to be turned on. Just touch the cap button and it will start to function automatically. Having 5 minutes of no activity with the pen, it will automatically turn into sleep mode. Pretty smart gadget to carry with.
- Tilt function and palm-rejection technology (no worries of wear and tear)

#6. Bargains Depot Capacitive Stylus
If you do lots of work with your phone or even manage a small business by your touch screen device, then it would the ideal choice for you. It is easy to use and can handle a huge amount of pressure all along the day.
This is a package designed with 4 different stylus pens and 20 replaceable tips. And the interesting fact is that you don't need to be an expert to replace the nib nor does it require any extra tools. This is so simple and effortless changing the tip. According to your application, you can change the tip size at any time and anywhere.
But what I like most about the pen is its ability to write with finer lines and pointing at small icons. You know if the pointing isn't accurate and bothers you having to select the exact item, and then perhaps, there is no point in using a stylus pen. However, this pen has almost flawless pointing and selection ability; I'm not claiming it perfect though.
What's more? this is actually what new in the upgraded version. The product we are talking about has been upgraded recently. And the manufacturer added some extra features and materials to the newer version. Such as the metal cap, the 6mm rubber cap on the other end, and replace the clip with better quality flexible clip.
Last, but not the least, this stylus pen is highly durable and made from top-notch material yet you should be careful when making marks on the screen. Don't put extra pressure on the screen rather act as it is a soft tip paintbrush.
- The tip it provides is one of the narrowest on the market
- The length is comfortable for anyone; no matter kids, adults, or someone elder
- It offers a number of rubber tip replacements
- Highly affordable
- Suitable for drawing and pointing small icons
#7. Pony Stylus Pens for Touch Screens
In spite of being available on the market for a short time, the Pony Stylus pen has earned a good name for its quality and great customer service. It is a pen that will introduce you between ideas and innovations.
When it comes to compatibility with different devices, without a doubt, this pen stays at the top of the pile. Which pen is the most compatible; meaning which can be written over most of the touch screens? I don't know for sure but this pen is one of those.
The pen is available in 3 different colors. All of them are the same except the price. The white one is more affordable.
The product is made of aluminum. No plastic or steel is used here. Though it weighs a bit more than the previous one. If you would like to write with a heavier pen then this would be suitable for you.
Do you worry about the durability of the pen? Let me inform you that the manufacturer positioned the disc tip connected with the metal steel balls. In other words, it will eventually make the pen more durable and long-lasting. Moreover, both ends are replaceable.
It writes smoothly and lag-free. No worries about charging or powering the pen. It is not a powered device. You can use it anytime at anywhere.
One interesting fact about the item is that it provides a replacement tip inside the pen cap. You don't need to carry the whole box in your bag or pocket. So, anytime you need to replace the disc tip; you just need to screw off the silver cover and replace it with the existing one.
In addition, if you need to carry your pen out in any condition, better use their default leather cover. It will make your pen last longer and remain healthier.
Some BONUS tips: 1. Don't expose the pen directly to the sun. 2. Don't put excessive pressure on the disc tip. 3. And, allow the pen to fully touch the screen for a better experience.
- It has very high sensitivity and precision
- Smart design; very close to apple pencil quality
- Highly affordable and durable
- Great for digital art
- Unconventional two-way magnetic cap
#8. Digiroot Universal Stylus (Black)
Want a stylus pen that will be compatible with all the touch screen devices. Get a Digiroot Universal Stylus pen. It works with all the capacitive smartphones, laptops, and other digital devices.
What exactly makes the difference between the Digiroot stylus pen and a regular one? Well, what I found something exciting here is its transparent disc at the point tip. A transparent disc allows its user to see exactly where he/she is pointing at.
What happens in the case of a ballpoint pen? You see where you are pointing at, right? But when it comes to a stylus pen, because of its design and thickness, it becomes tough to see where you're pointing at unless and until it has a transparent disc on the tip. So, this is why it is beneficial for anyone of having a stylus pen with a transparent disc tip.
What's more? The stylus is too sensitive. Meaning, responsive. There are not many options available on the market which is as responsive as this one. Therefore, no breaking, no offset, and no question of lagging.
The pen is too easy to use. You can reassemble the point tip without having any tool or asking an expert. It comes with 9 different replacements- 6 replacement discs and 3 fiber tips. No battery is required.
Now, if we look into the construction or the structure of the pen, it is a 5.7-inch standard size stylus pen. You can carry it with your bag, pocket, or even in a notebook. It is made of aluminum; no plastic or stainless steel is used. Moreover, if we look into the rubber grip, it is so comfortable and easy to write and draw with.
Finally, this 2 in 1 (a fiber tip and a disc tip at each end) stylus pen is ready to meet your various needs and applications. I highly recommend this stylus pen if you need to get several jobs done.
- It writes and works smoothly (no skip, no lag, and no offset)
- No worries about scratches on your screen
- Suitable for playing games and drawings
- Great for the price
- A total of 9 replacements
#9. StylusHome 10 Pack High Precision Capacitive Stylus
StylusHome is a widely used stylus pen brand at the moment. The manufacturer claims to use top-notch materials to make their pens. Thus it becomes completely safe to cherish them.
This stylus pen is highly sensitive and responsive to touch screen devices. It writes and draws smoothly on any capacitive device. What makes it different than other ordinary stylus pens in the market is its high-sensitivity. Therefore, it ensures no lags, offsets, or breakings.
Well, first and foremost, what should you look into a stylus pen before making the final purchase decision? In other words, what's the main quality do you look into a tool before buying? - Generally speaking, it's safety, right? It could be anything related to your health or your product’s health that it will affect on.
So, in the case of a stylus pen, what's that one thing you should look into? It is its tip. If the tip isn't made of good quality material or in a good shape either, it will certainly cause damage to your device. Fortunately, this stylus pen is made of soft and scratch-resistant rubber, therefore it is absolutely safe and secured to use over any touch screen device.
Moreover, for easy drawing and writing, the manufacturer makes the screen tip fingerprint-resistant and anti-stick as well.
Furthermore, the stylish stylus is a great option to gift someone on any special occasion. It looks good and incredibly affordable. It has a protective cap over the tip that protects it from any harm and damage. Moreover, it has also an anti-rolling function that prevents the pen from rolling to the ground.
- Compatible with various types of devices
- Highly affordable and durable
- The colorful design will captivate any young blood

#10. UROPHYLLA Stylus Pen- Universal 2 in 1 Capacitive Stylus Ballpoint Pen (10pcs)
The best stylus pens provide the best user experience because they provide lag-free smooth writing and drawing experience. No one would be interested in something that will provide no better than the existing one. So, what we experience with our big fingers, the stylus must have to outdo it.
The UROPHYLLA Stylus pen works almost with all the capacitive touch screen devices. It writes with no lags and breaks. You feel like writing or drawing with a real pencil.
It is a 10 pack stylus pen set. Bearing the same features and specifications, the pens are divided into two- Black and Silver. 5 pens are black-colored where the rests are Silver color.
The pens are made from Stainless Steel. No plastic is used here. Therefore, it weighs a bit more than the plastic pen. And it is more durable and compact than others.
What I like most about the stylus is that it comes with a soft rubber tip. Honestly, I love the transparent disc at the tip most, without a doubt. However, the way the manufacturer thought and designed this tip is just incredible. When it is a transparent disc tip, it necessarily becomes pricey. But this pen comes with an affordable price and with a well-made point tip. It has a scratch-free and highly sensitive tip.
What's more? It also acts as a full-time ballpoint pen. The other part of the pen is outfitted with a ballpoint that can write comfortably over any paper.
So, here is the real 2 in 1 pen. You can use it as a stylus pen writing, drawing, and pointing at small icons, at the same time, you are able to use it as a simple ballpoint pen. Are you still confused about having one in your arsenal!
- Universal compatibility; you can use it over any capacitive touch screen device
- The real 2 in 1 pen (a stylus and a ballpoint pen as well)
- The super responsive rubber tip
- Great for the price
- An exceptional 10 pack stylus pen set (5 Black and 5 Silver)
What to Consider before Buying a Stylus pen
Everything that is expensive is worth buying? -Simply NOT. A price cannot always dictate what is good what is bad. Every product has some pros and cons regarding its material, applications and so many other things. You cannot simply expect a product to provide you the best experience unless you research and gather some information before buying it.
And honestly, it gets really easy to become perplexed as there are so many options available on the market right now. So, we have already reviewed 10 stylus pens with their pros, cons, and highlighted features, and again here is a brief guideline before you spend your hard-earned money on something. So here expect your utmost attention for only the next 3-4 minutes.
Would you like to buy different stylus pens for your different touch screen devices? Well, probably not. I highly suspect there will be anyone who wants to spend more money and having different types of stylus for his/her devices.
There are a number of quality styluses that are compatible with most of the capacitive touch screen devices. From iPad to android and Microsoft smart phones, laptops, notebooks, and the list goes on.
So, I highly recommend each of you to look for a stylus that will be able to navigate all of your capacitive devices.
Probably this is the most crucial part of a stylus pen. No matter whether it is a ruling pen or the gorgeous stylus pen, if the point tip isn't good enough, there is no point in buying that stuff. At this point, you should really be strict. You can perhaps compromise the body material or the pen color, but here, there no chance of compromising even a bit.
A stylus with a ‘no-quality’ tip can damage your expensive gadget bit by bit. It will fail either providing you the desired experience or end up damaging your smart devices.
There are a few kinds of tips for styluses. The transparent disc tip is my favorite because it makes drawing and writing easier. You can necessarily see where you are exactly pointing at or mark that you're making. Other than this, you can go with any soft rubber tip, that doesn't cause any scratch on the screen.
One more thing that strongly backs of having a good quality tip that is lag and breaks free writing and drawing experience with the stylus pen. Honestly, this is a pretty common scenario with an ordinary stylus pen. It starts lagging in the middle of the drawing or even troubling to select an item. Therefore, it is a highly sensitive issue to consider before making the final decision.
Frankly speaking, this is not as important as of having a good quality tip. Yet, for long time daily use, you should look for a stylus pen that feels comfortable in the hand.
Check the weight and material. If it is too heavy or too light then it will become tough to accelerate. Therefore, always try to go with a balanced weight product for daily use.
You can also look into the grip. Not all of them come with a rubber grip. Some of the styluses come with no extra grip, though they are still comfortable to cherish. So, be careful about checking these specifications and features of a stylus pen.
How Does a Stylus Pen Work
Sure you know what a Stylus pen does but do you know how it does what it does? Let’s find out! It seems simple enough to take out the stylus pen right on the screen and there you go but it's a little more complicated than that.
For example, there's a button on the stylus pen that's going to need power and where does that power come from? How does this all work together well? Let’s break it down!
Okay, I have an admission to make I can't literally break the S Pen because then I wouldn't be able to use it. What I can do is tell you and show you how it does what it does.
First things first. Where does the stylus pen get its power from? Actually, a circuit and a few other pieces of hardware laid out in a grid sit behind the screen and generate an electromagnetic field. Just so you know that's about as technical as we're going to get. As soon as the stylus pen gets in range, it starts to pick up that electromagnetic field. This by the way is right around where you'll start to see the hover icon appear on the screen.
Now inside the stylus pen near the front is a tightly wrapped coil that channels the energy from the field and uses it to power its own circuit.
Now here's where it gets really interesting the screen has nothing to do with using the stylus pen. That's right, nothing.
It's possible that you might have noticed this before but if you press the tip or nib of the stylus pen while it's close enough to the screen, it acts exactly as if you would just tap the screen. That's because the nib is basically another button on the stylus pen. It just happens to be pressure-sensitive.
When you press down on the nib you're basically telling the device that you're touching the screen even if you aren't. You can draw as you like or write similar to a ballpoint pen writes on paper. Use it to navigate the Play Store or anything else. This isn't really useful of course it's just a nice demonstration.
The interesting fact about some of the quality styluses is that you can even use it through the stylus pen has no contact with the screen. It still picks up what you draw on something above your screen. This might not seem like a big deal but it does show that you can use a heavy-duty screen protector or case with your note devices.
Moreover, you don’t have to worry about the stylus pen working incorrectly if you pick the right stylus for your device. Notably, not every of the stylus pens is capable to work with, for example, note S5 or iPhone. So, make sure you know the capability of your stylus before you make the final purchasing decision.
How to Make a Stylus Pen
As we all know the stylus is especially helpful for intensive tasks such as doodles and Illustrations on our digital screens. So, what about making one by yourself?
What you will need
1) Ballpoint pen, preferably out of use.
2) Copper wire; if not available salvage it from an electric wire
3) Cotton is the most important item required.
The cotton will be used for the tip in the stylus. With all the stuff ready, let's begin!
First, take the refill out of the ballpoint pen. Then, take the copper wire and insert some portion of the wire through the pen's front then, take the rest and wind it closer to the portion where you usually grip the pen. The reason why we do this is that our phone screen usually takes input from our hands via electrical signals and hence for the stylus to work we would still have to continue relaying these signals.
Keeping it aside, let's work on the stylus' nib. Now, take some cotton and knead it in the palm of your hand. Make a piece out of it such that the ends are sharp with a thick center. This will be the tip of the DIY stylus. If required, use some water to knead it too.
Then, insert it into the pen body, from the back. Using the refill taken out, press the tip to the front of the pen. Pull the tip from the front also, to the required length. Use a pair of scissors to shape and shorten the tip. Further, knead the tip into a rounded nib shape.
Voila! Your DIY pen stylus is ready.
Let's try using it.
You can do whatever you would like to do with this stylus. It will work no less than a ready-made stylus pen. The sky is the limit.
Something to be noted is that you must always have your finger by the copper wire receptors as it does not work while touching anywhere else.
Frequently Asked Question
1. Question: How long does a stylus pen last?
Answer: It depends on how you use it. Also, it depends on the particular brand and the device you use over. It lasts about 4-5 years normally. Again, it varies, varies among the users.
2. Question: What is the difference between a stylus and a digital pen?
Answer: Well, it seems to be quite confusing sometimes. Honestly, I didn’t know the actual reason behind naming one stylus and another is a digital pen. Now, the prime difference between them is of having internal electronics. The digital pen contains internal electronics in it where the stylus pen doesn't.
By appearance, they look almost the same as each other. Having said that, the stylus pen is a bit thinner and smaller than the digital pen. Mostly, the digital pen is used for the more complex and heavy task. For example, graphics designers use digital pens for drawing on tablets or laptops while you can do basic writings and drawings with your stylus pen.
Moreover, some digital pens are able to record audio as well. and, you need some form of connection from the device as well.
So, overall, the styluses are simple and an easy-to-use gadget while the digital pens are for pro and advanced level users.
3. Question: Can I use a stylus on any touch screen?
Answer: Yes and No. Let me explain myself. There are some styluses that are eligible to work with any touch screen device while others are not. Therefore, you should testify its ability before placing your order there.
Buying a gorgeous stylus pen is nothing short of an adventure. If it is for the first time, then guess what? It is the excitement that reaches the sky. Frankly speaking, particularly at this stage, we do some mistakes. Sometimes, we completely ignore the quality for the sake of its appearance, and sometimes it happens the reverse.
So the point being, if you want the best stylus pen in your pocket, you need to be rational and balanced as well. We hope that you got to benefit from our stylus pen reviews that you might need. And that will be sufficient in this regard. Good luck!
